Beleef Factorium! Op zondag 10 maart staat het volledige gebouw van Factorium wederom in het teken van 'jouw thuis/jouw culturele identiteit', een unieke kans om jezelf middels muziek, dans of theater onder te dompelen in een andere cultuur.

Van Surinaamse zang tot Percussie en van een Spoken Word tot Caribische Dans, alles beleef je op 10 maart bij Factorium!

Tevens tovert het Ronde Tafelhuis hapjes en drankjes op tafel tijdens de special en voor de kids is er overheerlijk ijs (kosten zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen). De culturele dag wordt afgesloten met een informele presentatie van alle groepen, waarin iedereen de kans krijgt om meer te vertellen over hun 'thuis'.

Toegangsprijs: €10,- per spoor. Gratis met de Kunstenkaart.

Kies jouw spoor

Tijdens de Home Special kies jij welk spoor/welke workshop je die dag gaat volgen. Er is voor de workshops geen ervaring vereist.

SPOOR ROOD: 'Domme kar' schrijfsessie
Leeftijd: 7 - 14 jaar

Samen met Richie Skaafijs (bekend van Domme Kar, waarin hij liedjes en video's maakt voor social media) en Factorium docent en rapper Zeno (Kevin Biemans) naar Studio Six. Daar ga in groepsvorm een rap en/of refrein schrijven over het thema ‘thuis’ op een toffe beat.

Je mag de song zelfs opnemen en live performen ter afsluiting van de dag als je wilt!

SPOOR PAARS: Surinaamse Zang
Leeftijd: 14+

Maak kennis en zing mee met Surinaamse liederen en klanken in de workshop van Surinaams Koor Pramisi in samenwerking met het Surinaamse Koor Prisiri uit Den Bosch.

Pramisi is een zangkoor met een mix van jong en oud heeft een breed repertoire met Surinaamse, Afrikaanse, Engels- en Nederlandstalige liederen. Tijdens de workshop ga je samen met het koor zingen.

SPOOR GEEL: Caribische Dans
Leeftijd: 14+

De folkloristische dansgroep Vania Caraibe, onder begeleiding van ervaren danser Desiree Olbino, (vertaling: Caribisch God's geschenk) kenmerkt zich door de traditionele dansstijl van Curaçao en Bonaire.

Vania Caraibe wil een ieder kennis laten maken met de 'Antilliaanse' folklore door informatie en educatie. Dit gebeurt door middel van dans, toneel en 'spoken words’.

SPOOR GROEN: Percussie
Leeftijd: 14+

Of je nu wilt leren trommelen op de surdo, de repinique, de caixa of de agogô, onze ervaren muzikanten staan klaar om je de basisbeginselen bij te brengen en je te begeleiden op je muzikale avontuur. Geen instrument? Geen probleem! We hebben extra instrumenten beschikbaar, zodat iedereen kan
meespelen.

Ontdek de opwindende wereld van samba reggae en laat je ritmische ziel dansen. Maak kennis met de fantastische 4-mans formatie Z4, die met passie en energie de meest aanstekelijke beats creëert.

SPOOR BLAUW: Buikdans
Leeftijd: 17+

Deze oriëntaalse dansvorm is dynamisch, sprankelend en speels. Via de techniek van de dans, kom je bij het gevoel achter de bewegingen. Zo kan je dansend in verbinding komen met jouw innerlijke kracht, creativiteit en diepe wijsheid.

De workshop wordt ondersteund door een aantal vaste dans-studenten van docent Isabel.

SPOOR ROZE: Spoken Word
Leeftijd: 16+

Onder begeleiding van de Griekse master studente Stella Voutoufianaki ga je de vloer op met materiaal wat jij zelf maakt rondom het thema ‘ samen op zoek naar thuis’. Er zullen zang-, bewegings- en kennismakingsoefeningen gedaan worden.

In kleine groepen ga je aan de slag met jouw eigen materiaal. Wat herinnert jou aan thuis? Dit kan in zang, woord of beweging worden weergegeven, net wat passend is bij jou. Het schrijven tijdens de workshop mag zowel in het Engels als in het Nederlands.

Experience Factorium! On Sunday, March 10, the entire Factorium building will once again be dedicated to 'your home/your cultural identity', a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a different culture through music, dance or theater.

From Surinamese singing to Percussion and from a Writers Session to Caribbean Dance, you will experience everything on March 10 at Factorium!

The Round Table House also puts snacks and drinks on the table during the special and there is delicious ice cream for the kids (costs are included in the price). The cultural day ends with an informal presentation by all groups, in which everyone has the opportunity to tell more about their 'home'.

Entrance fee: €10 per track. Free with the 'Kunstenkaart'.

Choose your track

During the Home Special you choose which track/workshop you will follow that day. No experience is required for the workshops.

TRACK RED: 'Domme kar' writing session
Age: 7 - 14

Together with Richie Skaafijs (known from 'Domme Kar', in which he makes songs and videos for social media) and Factorium teacher and rapper Zeno (Kevin Biemans) to Studio Six. There you will write a rap and/or chorus in a group about the theme 'home' on a cool beat.

You can even record the song and perform it live to end the day if you want!

TRACK PURPLE: Surinamese Song
Age: 14+

Get to know and sing along with Surinamese songs and sounds in the workshop of Surinamese Koor Pramisi in collaboration with the Surinamese Koor Prisiri from Den Bosch.

Pramisi is a choir with a mix of young and old and has a wide repertoire with Surinamese, African, English and Dutch songs. During the workshop you will sing together with the choir.

TRACK YELLOW: Caribbean Dance
Age: 14+

The folkloric dance group Vania Caraibe (translation: Caribbean God's gift), under the guidance of experienced dancer Desiree Olbino, is characterized by the traditional dance style of Curaçao and Bonaire.

Vania Caraibe wants to introduce everyone to 'Antillean' folklore through information and education. This is done through dance, theater and spoken words.

TRACK GREEN: Percussion
Age: 14+

Whether you want to learn to drum on the surdo, the repinique, the caixa or the agogô, our experienced musicians are ready to teach you the basics and guide you on your musical adventure. No instrument? No problem! We have additional instruments available so that everyone can play along.

Discover the exciting world of samba reggae and let your rhythmic soul dance. Meet the fantastic 4-man formation Z4, who creates the most infectious beats with passion and energy.

TRACK BLUE: Belly dance
Age: 17+

This oriental dance form is dynamic, sparkling and playful. Through the technique of the dance, you get the feeling behind the movements. This way you can connect with your inner strength, creativity and deep wisdom through dancing.

The workshop is supported by a number of regular dance students of teacher Isabel.

TRACK PINK: Spoken Word
Age: 16+

Under the guidance of the Greek master student Stella Voutoufianaki, you will take to the floor with material that you make yourself around the theme 'together in search of home'. Singing, movement and introductory exercises will be done.

You will work with your own material in small groups. What reminds you of home? This can be expressed in song, word or movement, whatever suits you. Writing during the workshop is allowed in both English and Dutch.
