Op Koningsdag 2024 - zaterdag 27 april - vindt in de Concertzaal Tilburg een concert plaats speciaal voor alle Tilburgers met een koninklijke onderscheiding.
Het concert wordt verzorgd door een projectorkest dat speciaal voor de gelegenheid is samengesteld.
Muzikanten kunnen zich tot 1 december 2024 aanmelden om mee te doen aan dit bijzondere Koningsconcert!
De organisatie verwacht minimaal niveau B-diploma of een vergelijkbaar niveau.
Als je je aanmeldt voor het orkest is het de bedoeling dat je zelfstandig de partijen instudeert (al dan niet met hulp) en voorbereid op de repetities komt.
De bladmuziek wordt digitaal aangeleverd. Bij te veel aanmeldingen vindt er een voorselectie plaats.
De repetities vinden plaats in de Theaterzaal van Factorium - 19.00 tot 22.00 uur - op de volgende dagen:
- vrijdag 1 maart - alleen strijkers
- vrijdag 8 maart - uitsluitend blazers en slagwerk
- vrijdag 15 maart, 5 april, 12 april en 19 april
- vrijdag 26 april: generale repetitie
- zaterdag 27 april: 20.00 uur uitvoering van het Koningsconcert.

Sign up for Kingsday project orchestra
On Saturday April 27, 2024 we will play the Kingsday concert with a project orchestra in the Concert Hall of Tilburg. This concert is for all Tilburg residents with a royal distinction.
After last year's success, a project orchestra will be put together again that will rehearse 7 times and perform the concert for the occasion.
Rehearsals will take place on:
- Friday, March 1 (strings only)
- March 8 (winds and percussion)
- March 15 and April 5, April 12, April 19.
- Friday April 26 dress rehearsal on and the concert on the 27th.
Rehearsels are from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Factorium in Tilburg. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and we will have a short sitting rehearsal beforehand.
If you register for the orchestra, we expect you to practice the parts yourself (with or without help) and to come to rehearsals prepared so that we can really play together. We aim for good and challenging programming, so the minimum level is a B diploma or comparable level. The sheet music is delivered digitally. If there are too many registrations, we may make selections.
